2 Process flow of production line
The layout of production line equipments is based on its process flow. We summarize the most advanced process flow based on advanced technology from abroad.
2.1 the steel plate horizontal cutting Hoisting the steel plate to the cutting work table , adjust cutting torch head the position ―― cutting steel plate ―― clean welding residue and burnish the oxidize skin(adoption manual machine) ――transport this steel plate and another steel plate go to the assembly machine ―― the spot-welding.
2.2 Assembly: A piece of web and a piece of flange are lifted onto input conveyor of assembly machine by crane. They will be clamped and positioned elementary with 3 sets of clamping units (pulling-rod centering system), then transported into assembly machine via driving input conveyor. Then automatic centering and clamping unit adjust reference size, positioning and centering web and flange precisely. After these, press auto-start button, automatic spot-welding is performed according to PLC program (Of which welding speed and welding-seam length can be set), also manual spot welding can be performed. Then the welded ⊥-shape work-piece will be put onto overturning rack for 90°flipping. The T-shape will then be lifted onto input side of assembly machine by crane, and together with another piece of flange, carrying out automatic spot-welding of another flange. In this way, H-beam assembly is finished.
2.3 Welding: The welded 工-shape work-piece is then overturned 90°into H-shape via overturning rack of assembly machine, and transported onto tra-cart of first welding area through conveyor. (Each welding area has two welding machines, which can weld two H-beams at the same time.) The lifting unit of tra-cart then raises the H-beam off the conveyor, and by means of tra-cart, the H-beam is sent onto overturning rack of LHC. Release the lifting unit of tra-cart, the overturning rack overturns work-piece 45°. Then LHC weld the first seam of H-beam automatically. After welding, the overturning rack overturn the work-piece to its original position. And with lifting unit of tra-cart, the H-beam is sent onto overturning rack of second LHC and overturn the H-beam to 45°welding position, then LHC weld the second seam of H-beam automatically. After all these done, the H-beam will be transported onto conveyor through tra-cart, and transported to movable 180°overturning rack for 180°flipping. Then the H-beam is sent to second welding area via conveyor for the same auto-welding process as the first welding area on another two seams.
2.4 Straightening: After all the 4 seams have been welded, the H-beam is sent to movable 180°rack and overturned 90°and sent into straightening machine for straightening. After straightening one piece of flange, the H-beam is overturned 180°and another flange is straightened.
2.5 H beam face milling
According to customer’s need ,may face milling it.
2.6, the crossbeam shot blasting and spraying paint work; . Transport the beam up the input roller of shot blasting machine ――adjust each function parts and open each shot blasting motor――start the feeding roller to the beam through shot blasting machine host――hoisting down the beam and manually spray defend rust paint――leave factory of the H beam finished product
The entire welding and assemble process features in high automationã€fluent process, and crane will be seldom used or never used. The control system is easy in operation, reasonable in arrange, safe and reliable, and can realize interlock. It is the ideal automatic equipment for producing H-beam. Annual output of production line of this kind of specification on the basis of single shift (8 hours) is about 15,000ton.
